Robin with cotoneaster - A6 card

£3.00

Packed in a cellophane bag, this card includes a white envelope from recycled paper. This A6 card takes a standard first class Royal Mail stamp and is left blank for your own message.

This watercolour painting shows a robin making himself at home in a cotoneaster plant that grew in my garden. Happily his descendants still sing and come for food today. These fiercely territorial birds sing amongst the magnolia and camellias where they base their nests.

Customers often tell me their stories of robins that visit them; this is a bird associated with memory and family. It is part of England's enchanted landscape, myths and story telling.

This card is not just for Christmas and can be sent at any time of the year.
