This handsome Brown Hare was painted as an illustration for a book cover. He is based on the summer hares I have seen racing across the fields behind Bishops Waltham Hampshire. Modelled on a Durer study, he has been a joy to paint.

This museum quality print is of an edition of 75 created on 308gsm pure cotton rag fine art paper employing UV encapsulated pigment inks and sealed to provide a fully archival long lasting and vibrant image.
The finished print is supplied in an acid free tissue wrap and shipped in an armoured mailing tube.
The main illustration shows the print 600 x 485 mm as supplied.
Tip: The wide border means you won’t need a mount. Simply pop it into a dark or gold frame and enjoy. If you do choose a mount a dramatic black or dark grey works very well. Frame is not included.
