This is my study of the white tailed bumble bees that I see in my Hampshire garden each summer. I think they are adorable and enjoy the way they flop into fox gloves and larger petaled flowers. I used watercolours, pen and ink to recreate his flight. The pollen is scattered across the page; he really was in a golden haze.
