Welcome Fiery Horses -2026

Today we celebrate the Chinese New Year and welcome fiery horses into our energy fields. So here’s to year of kicking over old systems and traces that don’t work for us any more. Good luck to all our plans and lets celebrate the dynamism that could work for so much good if we choose to.

Personally I enjoy the traditional Eastern preparations to welcome in this equine spirit. We should wear red, we should not do any housework in case we sweep away the New Year’s Blessing. Lets wear scarlet and enjoy today.

As you know the myths of the English countryside endure and don’t seem to to change each year. They remain in mystery through time. So as a counterbalance to the Chinese Zodiac I hope you will also enjoy this green man that I found in Titchfield Church. He is sited on the Belinus leyline that is associated with dragons. Finally - I include an alabaster statue of the Madonna and child also in Titchfield Church. A reminder that whether our traditions are East or West, love is the thing that holds us together.
