I am a writer and I sometimes think I should introduce myself with the phrase, ‘My name is Sarah, please be aware that you are not obliged to say anything but anything you do say may be taken down and turned into a short story format years from now.’

While I try to avoid identifying the source, the truth of the story, I hope, is retained.
