Thrush
Thrush
Description
Of joy illimited - wrote the normally gloomy poet Thomas Hardy of this beautiful song bird. The Thrush always lifts the heart when these creamy, ermine flecked birds of summer fill the air with their song.
An original illustration for the book Blessed Be - also for sale on this site, the writer Lady May describes him as:
"A flock of geese fly overhead as if in formation and there right in front of me is a thrush perched on an overturned flower pot. She starts her mesmerising song and it is as if the world has stood still."
A truly beautiful bird and a welcome visitor to my garden, this print is a real treat for bird lovers.
